WAVE (K-COIL) presents a model that divides the levels of collaboration between Sungkyunkwan University and foreign university faculty (Stage 1) to global project execution by students from both universities (Stage 4), allowing for progressive advancement of WAVE/K-COIL classes. Currently, through pilot operations in the 2023 academic year, WAVE (K-COIL) is developing case studies for each level and utilizing them as references for interested professors to plan and operate WAVE/K-COIL programs for the next semester. Additionally, to enhance the exploration of international exchange partners, WAVE (K-COIL) conducts joint workshops and facilitates partnership connections among professors, aiming to identify partner universities capable of real-time exchange and devising strategies to strengthen partnerships.

SKKU WAVE connects courses at Sungkyunkwan University with courses at partner universities, allowing professors to exchange lectures and enabling students and professors from different universities to interact online. Lecture exchanges can involve recorded video lectures, live lectures, offline lectures, etc. Through online interaction, students and professors with different cultures and languages have the opportunity to interact through discussions on various topics or team projects.
